When it comes to Chinese food my favorite is Crab Rangoon. I LOVE them. I think I love them more than any Chinese meal. When I was at the grocery store I saw frozen Crab Rangoon and this made. my. day. I couldn’t wait to get home and cook them in my air fryer. Yep, my air fryer…no more soggy food that’s supposed to be crunchy because let’s face it, the oven just doesn’t cut it in terms of making things crunchy.
I tried the PAGODA® brand Crab Rangoon. These cam frozen, contained a quantity of 8 Crab Rangoon, and included a sweet chili sauce.
I set the air fryer to 360° F and set the time for 7 minutes. Half way through I flipped the Crab Rangoon.
After 7 minutes they were perfectly crispy!
I, personally, was not a fan of this brand. While the shell was crispy due to my awesome air fryer, I wasn’t a fan of the taste of the shell itself. It wasn’t the typical Crab Rangoon shell I’m used to. I also thought the inside didn’t have a lot of cream cheese. I will probably not buy this brand again, but rest assured, I’ll be on the lookout for another brand to try and will be sure to share!
